Public EV Charging Program

Accelerating Electric Vehicle Adoption in San Diego

Program Information

The City of San Diego is dedicated to leading the charge towards a sustainable future by setting ambitious goals to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and expand the necessary EV charging infrastructure by 2030. With over 30% of California’s transportation carbon emissions stemming from cars, enhancing EV charging availability for residents and visitors is essential to achieving our climate action goals.
